The Aruba Wine Extravaganza is a foundation formed by a group of wine enthusiasts who came up with the idea to organize a wine tasting festival, where wineries from South America will meet with Wine Lovers of the Northern American or from any part of the world, in Aruba.
Aruba is a very precious island where tourism comes to enjoy the sun, the sea the start and fine dining. With fine dining, comes greats wines and here Is where the Wine Extravaganza team saw the need to come up with the Aruba Wine Extravaganza Festival. Our team is looking forward to having approximated 300 to 400 wine lovers and approximated 30 and 40 Wineries present on the island. We are being assisted by ATA and also by the AHATA to be able to archive our goals.
On September 2nd, 3rd , and 4th ,2010 Aruba will experience for the first time a feast of great wines from South America.
This event will be held at the Radisson Aruba resort, Spa and Casino situate at the Palm Beach Aruba.
Being an island of sophisticated dining, wine will play a very important role in the further development of Aruba. We will need people that understand the synergy between wine and food. The foundation’s goal is to allot part of the process of the events to a scholarship for one of our outgoing waiters who would like to further his studies in wines.

DAY ONE: Thursday September 2nd, 2010

** Registration and receiving of program and gift
Evening: 6:30pm – 10:00pm
Tasting under the Stars will be a unique way to remain in contact with nature, to taste some of the world’s best wines from South America. The Wineries are been carefully selected, especially those that meet the criteria of leading Wine Magazines such as The Wine Spectator and The Wine Advocate. During this evening and the following evening you will be able to savor some of the Best Wines from South America. Here you will have the distinctive opportunity to meet with the Wine makers and owners of the wineries.

Part I. 9:00 – 9:30 Welcome words and preview by chairman of the
Aruba Wine Extravaganza Organization
Part II. 9:30 – 12:00 Southern region star wines
We will salute 8 of the best wines of the Southern region of the Americas.
LUNCHEON: 12:00 – 1:30pm
Join us in the … Restaurant for lunch accompanied by a variety of wines.
Part III. 2:00 – 3:30pm The region’s top 10 Cabernet Sauvignon
Here we will taste highly rated Cabernet Sauvignon’s
from South America with the Wine Makers
Part IV. 6:30 –10:00pm Tasting under the Stars around the pool area. Here you will have the distinctive opportunity to meet with the Wine makers and owners of the wineries and continue to taste their wines.
DAY THREE: Saturday September the 4th, 2010
Part I. 9:30 – 12:00am Tasting of the region’s best Malbec and Carmenere
Here is where you will be able appreciate a different grape variety from close by with the Wine Maker explaining his wine. The Lost grape of France? and the Malbec from Argentina (8 wines)
LUNCHEON: 12:00 – 1:30PM Join us for an exciting lunch with 2 different wines
2:00 – 3:00pm Riedel Presentation Riedel Wine Glass is an instrument!
FINAL EVENING: 7.30 – 8.00 pm Sparkling Wine reception in the Ballroom foyer
